Privacy

Tidepane by Samir Kumal is built so that your work stays on your Mac.

The app

• No accounts and no analytics.
• Your workspaces, layouts, bookmarks and history are stored in a local database on your Mac.
• The only network traffic is the pages you open, their site icons, and the check for updates, which reads a public file on GitHub.
• The update check does not send a system profile.

This website

• No cookies, no analytics and no third-party scripts.
• The website host keeps ordinary request logs (such as IP address and page requested) to run and secure the service.
• The Download button links to GitHub, which has its own privacy policy.
